No Time for Goodbye

I had never heard of Barclay Linwood before I picked up this book. I’m very glad I did. This book is a superior thriller that will have your heart pumping right out of your chest. The story is intricately plotted with enough twists and turns to make even the most discerning reader’s head spin. At times I found the suspense so deep it was suffocating.

The book did have some flaws I found somewhat distracting. Linwood tends at times to over explain taking a page to expound on a topic where a sentence would have sufficed. I also found some of his situations a little farfetched, even for a thriller, and some of the dialog and character motivations could use some work. But even so this was a fast impossible to put down page turner that satisfied all the way to the end.

A kid wakes up to find her entire family gone without a trace and away we go. Enjoy.
